I'M ALL EARS
Hello! I am a graphic designer and illustrator, a mom to two wonderful cubs, and a teacher to many more. After growing up with hearing loss and wearing hearing aids for most of my life, I decided to pursue cochlear implants. I am now a bilateral recipient. My cochlear implants have changed my life! I am loving hearing new sounds and conversations with others. This visual blog is all about sharing sounds and life moments I can now hear — what I like to call my happy hearing moments. My sister is also just starting her journey, and I am enjoying her experiencing new sounds as well.
I lovingly created all illustrations on this blog. I always try to include the shape of the cochlea somewhere!
